Writesonic is an AI writing and content-generation platform used for marketing copy, articles, product descriptions, and SEO content. It was founded in October 2020 in San Francisco by Samanyou Garg — an engineer who initially operated the product under the name Magicflow — with the idea of having AI study high-performing landing pages and generate similar copy. Writesonic was accepted into Y Combinator's Summer 2021 batch and raised seed funding later that year.
