Nokia is a Finnish multinational company that designs and sells telecommunications network infrastructure, including mobile radio access equipment, fixed and optical networking gear, and network software used by carriers to build and operate cellular and broadband networks. It also licenses patents from its long history in mobile handsets and holds a broad portfolio of wireless standards-essential technology. Overview
Nokia began as a diversified Finnish industrial company before becoming, through the 1990s and 2000s, the world's largest maker of mobile phones.
